Dear Windy,
I was at the meeting in Prescott Library last evening on July 22cnd. It was crowded, you were busy, but I want to tell you that I thought you gave a very comprehensive talk. I enjoyed it. Thank you.
The last paper that you passed around was about market coaching for unpublished writers. In it was guidelines for submitting their work.
My question is this. Do you ever act as an agent? I have written a "cozy mystery." I intend to do a series using the same characters. It is ready and waiting for someone like you to take it to the next level. I would self publish, but have done that with my first book, Growing Up a Shadow. I am not a salesman, although I did sell many copies, (somewhere around 2,000.) For each book that sold I donated one to an abuse shelter.
The mystery I've recently finished is titled The Empty Chair. It is about an antique dealer in Peoria, Illinois named Annie McMuffit. It has many quirky individuals in it, and have been told, (not by family,) that it is an excellent read.
If you are unable to look at it and be my agent, do you know any literary agents in this area?
Sincerely Lois M. Gentry
